Common Use Cases

  • ✓ Cross-device Clipboard: Quickly move a long URL or configuration from your laptop to your server or phone.
  • ✓ Code Snippets: Share error logs or code blocks with colleagues without using heavy tools like GitHub Gists.
  • ✓ Temporary file sharing: Send files with your text in the same PIN-protected room. Files expire with the room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this data encrypted?

HTTPS/TLS encrypts data in transit; this is not end-to-end encryption. Technical logs may be retained for security. Encrypt highly sensitive content locally before sharing.

Why is there a PIN code?

The server requires the room PIN before returning text or files. Link-preview bots without the PIN cannot read them. Share the link and PIN only with your intended recipients.

How long does text last?

Rooms expire one hour after the last text save or attachment change. Access to text and files ends immediately on expiry or manual destruction. File storage is cleaned up automatically, with retries if needed.

Can I share files, and what are the limits?

Paste, drag or select files up to 100 MB each. A room holds up to 10 files, totaling 300 MB. Text and files use the same PIN and expiration.
